Man rushed to hospital after Glasgow 'stabbing'

A man was rushed to hospital following an alleged 'stabbing' in Glasgow last night. Shettleston Road was cordoned off after police were called to a disturbance around 6.20pm on March 13.

A huge police presence was seen at the incident with images from the scene showing a First Glasgow bus in the centre of the road where it was closed off.

Local reports suggest the road was still cordoned off this morning.Police Scotland has now confirmed that a 41-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment following the disturbance and enquiries are ongoing.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a disturbance on Shettleston Road, Glasgow, around 6.20pm on Wednesday, 13 March, 2024."Emergency services attended and a 41-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment."Enquiries are ongoing."
