Kate Middleton has announced that she has completed her cancer treatment after undergoing preventative chemotherapy. The Princess of Wales was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and stepped away from public royal duties to recover.
The mum-of-three has not made many public appearances this year and had major abdominal surgery in January before revealing she had been diagnosed with cancer in March.In a new three minute video, the princess reflected on the 'incredibly tough time' and revealed that she has finished her treatment.
She said: "As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment."The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family.
Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.She added: "The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.
