A man has been rushed to hospital after he was struck by a piece of fallen building debris on Falkirk High Street. Emergency services were called to the scene at around 10am today, October 3.
Footage shows police, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, and Scottish Ambulance staff on the busy shopping street. The man was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital after sustaining an injury.
Police said the debris was a piece of fallen masonry and a cordon has also been put into place until the building has been made safe.
Falkirk Delivers, which runs the town centre's Business Improvement District, told customers that despite the incident, the High Street remained open for business.
