But a new survey shows many people are cutting back this year on the amount they spend on a special present. Lending Tree conducted an online poll of 2,000 people between the ages of 18 to 77 in April and learned that approximately 57% of respondents said inflation is impacting how much they're willing to spend for Mother’s Day gifts. Sixty-two percent of millennials (ages 18 to 26) said inflation factors into their Mother’s Day spending budget, followed by Gen Zers (ages 18 to 26) at 56%, Gen Xers (ages 43 to 58) at 52%, and Baby boomers (ages 59 to 77) at 46%. star Tom Felton is opening up like never before in his new memoir, . While the 35-year-old British actor certainly gives his readers what they want and presumably expect with plenty of tidbits and set secrets and lots of details on his more-than-friends relationship with co-star Emma Watson, Felton also makes some shocking revelations toward the end of his book. He speaks about moving to Los Angeles and getting overwhelmed by a more glamorous, movie-star lifestyle. In searching for a bit of normality reminiscent of his upbringing, Felton writes that in his mid-to-late twenties, he «spent more hours, more nights, than I care to remember» at a Los Angeles dive bar called Barney's Beanery. Felton writes that he wasn't much of a drinker until he started frequenting Barney's while «craving normality.» «I went from being not particularly interested to regularly having a few pints a day before the sun had even gone down, and a shot of whiskey to go with each of them,» he writes, adding that he was «drinking to escape a situation.» He says he had drinks on set and would show up «unprepared» for work. Former Angels employee sentenced to 22 years in prison in overdose death of pitcher Tyler Skaggs

TARRANT COUNTY, Texas - Former Los Angeles Angels employee Eric Kay was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison for giving pitcher Tyler Skaggs pills laced with fentanyl that ended up killing him.In February, Kay was found guilty of distribution of a controlled substance resulting in death and conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances.In 2019, the Angels were in Texas to play the Rangers when the 27-year-old Skaggs was found dead inside of his Southlake hotel room with a mix of ethanol, fentanyl and oxycodone in his system.Investigators found pills inside Skaggs' hotel room that looked like oxycodone tablets. 'Murdered over a wig:' LA store owner killed trying to stop shoplifters; 2 teens arrested

LOS ANGELES - New details have been released in the stabbing of a Fashion District store owner in downtown Los Angeles – who possibly may have been murdered over a wig.Tommy Lee immigrated to the United States from South Korea and owned a wig shop in the Fashion District for about 20 years.On Saturday, around 1:15 p.m. near the intersection of Wall Street and Olympic Boulevard, two 17-year-olds approached Lee and tried to rob him.
