Since leaving Celebrity Big Brother, talent manager and ex-X Factor judge Louis Walsh has revealed he’s had second thoughts about his behaviour on the show.

Louis had been scathing of fellow celebrities from Jedward to Simon Cowell, Cheryl and Ronan Keating. And during his exit interview - where he came fourth, host AJ Odudu asked him: “Is there anyone you’d like to apologise to?” To which Louis replied: "No, absolutely not. That is just my opinion." However, just days after his exit from the Big Brother house, Louis has changed his tune and revealed that he’s rethought his “catty” behaviour as the “experience is going to change me” - and it all stemmed from his cancer diagnosis.

Louis admitted he had been unwell during Celebrity Big Brother. He had a chat with housemates Levi Roots and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who asked about his experiences in lockdown.

Louis replied: “I was sick, and I think nobody knew I was sick. I had cancer – a mild version, a rare one, in my blood. “I didn’t even know I had it until I went to the hospital. They checked me and then they found it.” During the ITV gameshow Louis added that the diagnosis affected him mentally: “It’s just up here, even when I go past a hospital I almost get sick." Upon his exit from the show, he told The Sun: “Cancer is a great reality check. This whole experience is going to change me.
