Strictly star Amy Dowden has revealed her eyelashes have fallen out again due to her ongoing cancer treatment. Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, after she discovered a lump on her breast just days before her honeymoon.

The dancer was then forced to miss last year's Strictly Come Dancing, as she underwent chemotherapy. In February, the star revealed that her latest health check showed there was "no evidence of disease" however she won't get the all-clear for five years The TV personality will need to return to hospital for check ups as well a monthly injection, to keep her "hormone fed" cancer at bay.Taking to her Instagram story to give fans a health update from her car while on route to a hospital appointment, the 33-year-old Welsh dancer said: “Good morning, everyone.

It's been ages since I've come on and spoke to you all." She added: "But I'm not going to lie, I've come an hour early by mistake for my blood test at the hospital so I thought, do you know what, I'm going to come on and say hello to you all." Amy ran her hands through her cropped hair as she revealed she was using a serum to help it grow back following chemo.

She told her followers: “Excuse the wild hair. I have put this serum on it to help keep the condition a bit, but it's gone a bit curly and a bit wild.
