A man has claimed his mum's body was found in a funeral parlour with a hospital tag still on her - seven weeks after he believed she had been cremated.

Martin Stone said he thought his mum Susan's body would have been cremated after her funeral at the Legacy Independent Funeral Directors.

The establishment is at the centre of a police probe and the 52-year-old said Humberside Police have informed him his mother is one of the bodies at the centre of the investigation.Last week a probe was launched which led to 35 bodies being recovered from the company's Hessle Road branch, following a report of concern for the dead.Yorkshire Live reports it is working with the National Crime Agency (NCA) to establish if what is believed to be human ashes are actually human ashes.

A 23-year-old woman and 46-year-old man who were arrested on suspicion of preventing a lawful and decent burial and fraud by false representation and fraud by abuse of position have been bailed.Mr Stone told The Sun around 20 people attended for a service at the chapel, where his mum Susan's coffin looked "dented" and "second hand".He said: "I just wanted to get revenge because of what happened to my mum, it's disgusting.
