Mum-of-three, 26, dies after 'barbaric' BBL surgery in Turkey
A mum-of-three tragically died following “barbaric” Brazilian butt lift (BBL) surgery in Turkey, an inquest has heard. Demi Agoglia, 26, had been told by her family that she didn't need to undergo surgery, but she was determined to have it in January.
Demi travelled to Istanbul for the procedure on 4 January alongside her partner. Sadly, just three days after having the operation, she died in hospital in Istanbul.
At Bolton Coroner’s Court, an inquest heard how Demi had been self-conscious about the way she looked and that her mother had told her she was a “good looking girl” who didn’t need the operation.
Demi’s partner Bradley also stated how he didn’t want her to have the surgery, though she booked the trip after it was advertised by “some celebrity”.
