Two neighbours have come up with an ingenious solution to drinking while observing social distancing measures. Kris Hindley, 39, and Tony Bennison, 54, live next door to one another in Aldridge, near Walsall.
The two share a passion for gin and loved to share a drink together, but the coronavirus lockdown put a stop to that. However the pals couldn't bear the idea of not seeing each other, and have constructed a makeshift bar between their two properties.
Last weekend they cut a hole in the garden fence separating their homes, and propped up the wood to create a homemade bar table. "It's good in this current climate with social distancing, we've got to try and have a drink together and be safe," Kris, who owns the business GinTing, told
