Wishaw hospital’s A&E department saw a significant rise in the number of patients in the past month despite the coronavirus lockdown.Official figures released by the NHS showed that the number of admissions has risen steadily over the past month with over 3,500 patients being seen.For the week ending May 3, 1,078 people attended A&E with 93.5 per cent being seen within four hours.
