A nurse has been left distraught after her car was damaged in a late-night attack, leaving her unable to visit vulnerable patients.
Sylvia Hunter, 59, from Farringdon, Sunderland, was horrified to discover the windows of her red Skoda had been smashed by thugs at around 11pm on Friday, April 10.
The practise nurse works for a local GP surgery and carries out home visits for the elderly and vulnerable who are unable to leave the house during the coronavirus lockdown.
But because of the damage caused to her car, she is unable to go to work to help those in need and has had to call her work to say she can no longer visit her clients.
