He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan is leading the celebrity outrage to Donald Trump’s ‘insane’ claims that injecting yourself with disinfectant can beat coronavirus.

The actual President of the United States declared at a briefing yesterday: ‘I see the disinfectant, where it knocks out in a minute, one minute, and is there a way we can do something like that?’ Trump – who has absolutely no medical qualifications – went on: ‘By injection inside, or almost a cleaning. ‘As you see, it gets in the lungs, and it does a tremendous number on the lungs.

So it would be interesting to check that.’ Trump was also adamant that ultraviolet light will kill the deadly virus. Brilliant.
