Two men have been arrested after police stopped a car and uncovered a stash of cash and cocaine. Officers pulled over the Seat Ibiza in Broad Street, Salford, shortly before 12.45am on Tuesday, May 5.
An initial search of the car uncovered a large quantity of cash. Officers then decided to conduct a more thorough search, which led to them seizing a quantity of cocaine.
Two men – aged 29 and 26 – have now been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and for breach of COVID-19 legislation.
The 26-year-old man has further been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst disqualified, taking a vehicle without consent and obstructing police.
