PHILADELPHIA - The threat of a new SEPTA strike could once again impact your commute. The union for the Suburban SEPTA workers says it could vote Monday or Tuesday to authorize a strike.
If workers do approve a strike, it could start as early as Friday morning as the current contract ends Thursday. This union represents SEPTA workers for the suburban bus and trolley lines.
This action comes just a week-and-a-half after the union representing SEPTA drivers in Philadelphia reached a last-minute deal, avoiding a strike in the city.
