The Body Shop has announced it is donating over 255,000 essential items to frontline NHS staff who are working tirelessly to treat patients during the coronavirus outbreak.

The ethical beauty brand's stores have been closed since March 20th, following Boris Johnson's announcement of a full UK lockdown to help stop the spread of Covid-19.

However, its UK teams will be handing out products to critical care, A&E and intensive care unit staff who have been forced to shower on site in between long shifts.
