Scottish football is in line to earn an extra place in the Champions League even if this season’s UEFA competitions are scrapped due to coronavirus.
European football’s governing body has already postponed Euro 2020 for a year with no end in sight to the COVID-19 horror.And there remains huge question marks over how domestic leagues and UEFA’s two flagship tournaments should be concluded if football remains shut down beyond the ruling body’s optimistic target of finishing all tournaments by June.
