Celtic idol Stiliyan Petrov has revealed he had already sealed himself into self-isolation long before Boris Johnson called for the country to move into lockdown.
The 40-year-old Bulgarian star, who also starred for Aston Villa, battled leukaemia after being diagnosed in 2012 and has been self-isolating with his family for 18 days so far.
While Petrov is in good health and has had the all clear from his own battle with illness, the lack of medical information surrounding the killer bug means he was advised to take extra precautions.
