Prime Minister Boris Johnson returned to work at Downing Street today following his recovery from coronavirus. Speaking outside of No.10, Mr Johnson launched a rallying call to continue with the lockdown to prevent a second spike of infections that would overwhelm the NHS.

But the UK isn’t alone in lockdown as countries across the globe have implemented social distancing measures, some long before Britain, in a bid to tackle the outbreak.

Coronavirus has so far infected close to three million people worldwide, with a global death toll standing at more than 200,000.

While the UK is not yet ready to get back to normal, some places have started to ease restrictions to kick-start their economies.
