TV icon's relief as son, 10, leaves hospital 33 days after 'nightmare' diagnosis

A TV icon has expressed their relief after their “walking miracle” 10 year old son was discharged from hospital following a 33-day long stay.

Sopranos star Jamie-Lynn Sigler revealed earlier this month that Beau had been diagnosed with acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) after what appeared to be a “normal virus” had “turned into a nightmare”.

However, after spending more than 30-days in hospital, he has finally returned home. In a recent Instagram post, the actress shared a heartwarming video of her son walking down a hospital hallway while being cheered on by people who’d lined up on either side of the space.

As he said goodbye to the hospital, Beau beamed from ear to ear and could be seen dancing down the corridor and giving high fives to those who were cheering him on. “After 33 days, we are busting out of here!
