Amazon has announced that they have returned to business as usual with the delivery of non-essential items, which means the next day option is back for Prime Members.

The retailing giant had previously prioritised orders made on ‘household staples, medical supplies and other high-demand products’ in its response to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Amazon has also hired somewhere in the region of 170,000 new employees since the beginning of March in a bid to cope with the high increase in demand for online products.

All eligible orders are now available for next day delivery, however, the Amazon website has added a new incentive to encourage customers to select a later delivery slot.
