Ayden Heaven has broken his silence on social media after suffering a serious-looking injury while playing for Manchester United against Leicester City on Sunday.
The centre-back appeared to be in some discomfort at the start of the second half, with United 1-0 up at the time through Rasmus Hojlund's first-half finish.
The 18-year-old attempted to intercept the ball at the back post and fell just off the pitch. Heaven was subsequently stretchered off the pitch and replaced by Toby Collyer.
It was a sad end for the defender who has impressed in central defence for Ruben Amorim's team since signing from Arsenal during the Janaury transfer window.
