Boris Johnson will appear at today's Downing Street coronavirus briefing, as he comes under mounting pressure to sack his chief aide Dominic Cummings.
The Prime Minister will take questions himself, in a late change to the planned press conference. The briefing was moved back from 4pm to 5pm.
It was originally expected to be led by Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick - who himself had come under fire for driving 40 miles to take medical supplies to his parents.
It comes as a chorus of Tory MPs called for Mr Cummings to resign, after he broke self-isolation rules to travel 260 miles to a Durham hideaway owned by his family, after his wife displayed coronavirus symptoms.
