Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan may have taken a short break from Good Morning Britain but he's set to come back with a bang if ITV's latest advert for the breakfast show is anything to go by.

Susanna Reid's co-star fires serious warning shots to the government and Boris Johnson raging he will be "demanding the truth".

In a direct attack at the PM, Piers continues he will not let Boris "off the hook". Over the past few weeks Piers, 55, has been extremely vocal about his displeasure of how the UK government has been handling the ongoing pandemic.

In particular, the former newspaper editor has been furious about how the PM's top aid Dominic Cummings has not been fired despite widespread anger from the nation about him seemingly broken the lockdown rules.
