Travellers coming into the UK will be forced to quarantine for two weeks upon their return to avoid a second peak of the deadly coronavirus.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson is set to announce the new measures which means Brits will have to take one month off this summer if they go on a two-week summer holiday.
The move could see an end to summer holidays this year which have already been placed in doubt after it was revealed last week Britons could be barred from taking holidays across Europe and stay-cations this summer due to its slow response towards coronavirus.
In an address to the nation, Mr Johnson will announce that passengers returning from abroad will be forced to self-isolate for 14-days, reports The Times.
