Captain Tom Moore honoured for 100th birthday with WWE title after NHS heroics

Captain Tom Moore has been honoured with a WWE belt by heavyweight champions Drew McIntyre for his heroics during the coronavirus lockdown.

The WW2 veteran has raised nearly £30m for the NHS’s battle against Covid-19 by walking 100 lengths of his garden to mark his 100th birthday on April 30.

It has seen honoured by fans, including a No.1 spot with his version of Liverpool chant You’ll Never Walk Alone. And the near centurion has now been given a WWE title by heavyweight champion McIntyre.
