Captain Tom Moore had Good Morning Britain viewers crying today as he spoke out on his 100th birthday. The World War II veteran, who has just been promoted to Honorary Colonel by the queen, thanked the country for their support after raising £30million for the NHS in its battle against coronavirus.
Speaking to GMB hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid today, he said: "Thank you all very much. "This country is full of marvellous people and everyone is keeping their spirits up."
