Children's hospital horror as 'human excrement' found hidden in staff lockers and ceiling multiple times over last year

Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital staff have been left horrified after ‘human excrement’ has been found ‘smeared’ across male staff toilets and changing rooms, ‘hidden in staff lockers’ and even ‘hidden in the ceilings’, sources claim. ‘Human faeces’ have been repeatedly found strewn across and hidden around the male staff changing rooms and toilets for the hospital’s operating theatre department, according to multiple internal incident reports filed by staff.

The Manchester Evening News has seen several internal incident reports lodged on separate occasions over the last 12 months, ranging from February 2023 to as recent as this beginning of this month.

One incident report claimed: "I came into work this morning and went to get changed in the male changing room. I noticed a horrible poo smell coming from the locker next to mine, I looked and found a fresh poo in the top locker underneath a scrub top.

I went and got some gloves and removed the filth and cleaned the locker." A third report read: "Past year someone has been leaving faecal matter in towels in lockers in the male changing rooms.
