Colson Smith, who stars as Craig Tinker on Coronation Street, heartbreakingly spoke about "hating himself" after "3 KFC meals a day" before he lost 10 stone.

During a candid chat with Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and David Potts on Celebrity Big Brother, the soap star reflected on his weightloss journey.

He openly said: "I lost weight when I was 18 through quite a strict diet and then, what I found was that I was gaining weight and then I’d try and diet again, the way I thought I needed to diet. "I wouldn’t eat for a day and a half.

I'd just starve myself and then I’d be that hungry that I would like," he continued as Sharon quipped: “The floodgates would burst." Colson explained: "I used to drive to KFC and I used to order three meals and then I would hate myself so I wouldn’t eat again for a day and a half and it would be that for months and months and months." Sharon called it a "Rollercoaster," and Colson said: "And one day I just decided", reports the Mirror.
