A local councillor has slammed the stunt for targeting vulnerable people during the pandemic but church leaders insisted they offered a message of “hope and positivity.”Edinburgh Greens councillor, Susan Rae, was surprised to see the leaflets being distributed in her Leith Walk ward of the city, particularly as many residents there have been struggling during the pandemic.She said: "They kind of pick on people who are vulnerable don't they - a lot of people are vulnerable just now.“It's interesting they'd target anybody in the middle of a pandemic."I think they'll get.
