Coronavirus: Fuller's cancels rent costs for more than 200 independent pubs

Fuller's is to cancel rent costs for hundreds of its tenants, after the Prime Minister ordered all pubs to close for the foreseeable future.
The pub giant, which announced plans to shut 215 of its own branches on Friday, said it will now wipe charges for around 200 pub tenants, many of whom are independently run.
In a letter sent out to its tenants, the company said all charges will be written off until further notice to protect businesses from collapse.
However unlike the banking industry's mortgage breaks for homeowners - the money will not have to be paid back. It comes after the Government ordered all pubs, bars and restaurants to close their doors on Friday amid the coronavirus crisis which has put life on hold for millions of people
