As the UK continues to battle the spread of coronavirus strict new rules have been introduced to protect Britain's most vulnerable.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced 1.5million people - the most vulnerable in the country - will now be contacted to tell them to self-isolate for 12 weeks.

The UK death toll has now risen to 281 as there are 5,683 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Britain. People are being urged to socially isolate in an attempt to flatten the peak of the number of cases to give the NHS the best chance to cope with the most seriously ill.
