A coronavirus sufferer who fought for every breath in St Thomas’ Hospital’s intensive care unit, where the Prime Minister was being treated yesterday, has described his harrowing experience.

Davey Hunt said what he feared would be his final goodbyes to his family before being sedated and put on a ventilator. He said: “I gave my brother my will and off I went to sleep.
