Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

Boris Johnson's fiancé says she feels 'incredibly lucky' after the prime minister was discharged from hospital. Carrie Symonds praised the staff who treated her fiancé for coronavirus at St Thomas' Hospital in London and said she would 'never be able to repay' them.
Mr Johnson was discharged from hospital this afternoon and will now continue his recovery at Chequers while taking a break from work, a statement from Downing Street said.
Ms Symonds, who is expecting her first child with Mr Johnson, said there were times "that were very dark indeed" during her fiancé's hospital stay. "My heart goes out to all those in similar situations, worried sick about their loved ones," she said. “Thank you also to everyone who sent such kind messages
