Bruce Springsteen has had to pull out of several tour dates due to a significant health scare, with his medical team advising against performing.The 74 year old music icon had to postpone his performance in Marseille on Saturday "due to vocal issues", as stated in an Instagram update from his account which stated that "further examination and consulting has led doctors to determine that Bruce should not perform for the next 10 days."His European stadium tour is expected to pick back up on June 12 in Madrid, the Mirror reports.The announcement also noted that "Additional postponements are required for Airport Letnany in Prague (originally scheduled for May 28) and San Siro Stadium in Milan (originally scheduled for June 1 and 3)".

The statement continued: "New dates for these shows will be announced shortly. Those wishing a refund will be able to obtain it at their original point of purchase. "Bruce is recuperating comfortably, and he and the E Street Band look forward to resuming their hugely successful European stadium tour on June 12 in Madrid at the magnificent Civitas Metropolitan."Fans have been expressing their well-wishes for the legendary American singer on social media, hoping for his quick recovery.
