Dave Coulier revealed how he told his Full House castmates about his cancer diagnosis. On Wednesday (November 13), the 65-year-old actor revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a form of blood cancer.
Before he shared the news with the public, Dave made sure to tell his castmates from the iconic ’90s sitcom.
In an interview, he revealed how they responded. Costar John Stamos also took to social media to voice his support. Keep reading to find out more… Speaking to People, Dave revealed that he reached out to castmates John, Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin and Scott Weinger and series creator Jeff Franklin via text message. “I didn’t want them to hear it from someone else, so I sent a text message out,” he explained.
The cast “immediate[ly]” replied. “It was just this outpouring of, ‘I will be there. You just name the time, and I know you’re in great hands with Mel, but what can we do?’ It really is overwhelming the love that we have for each other.
