I'm a Celebrity's Barry McGuigan's son Shane has been rushed to hospital causing concern among his followers. The 36-year-old boxing coach, who previously had a romance with his father's co-star Maura Higgins, took to Instagram to share an alarming photo from his hospital bed, showing him with an IV in his arm.Alongside the image, he captioned: "It's 1 thing after another atm at the moment", leaving out details regarding his admission, the Mirror reports.The news follows the unexpected double elimination of Shane's dad Barry and his former flame Maura from the jungle on Thursday night.
Some fans speculated that their exit was influenced by the inability of viewers from the Republic of Ireland to cast votes on the programme.
Shane, who is set to marry singer-songwriter Taylor West and shares two children with her, recently featured on Good Morning Britain talking about his connection with Maura.
He emphasised their common humble beginnings, stating: "Maura as well she's an Irish girl she's from a small town in Ireland so they're both from the sticks."Shane and Maura's paths crossed when she was working as a ring girl and he was providing commentary for a radio station.
