Davina McCall's boyfriend gives update after star's brain tumour surgery
Davina McCall's boyfriend Michael Douglas has issued an emotional update about the star's health after she revealed the shock news that she needed brain surgery to remove a tumour.The My Mum, Your Dad host shared a video earlier today (Friday, November 15) explaining she'd discovered a 14mm benign tumour a few months ago and needed surgery, while also asking fans to keep her in their prayers during her recovery period.
Using Davina's official Instagram account this evening, Michael posted an update which said: "Hey all. Davina is out of surgery and according to the surgeon it was textbook!
She's currently recovering in ICU as a precaution, as you can imagine she's utterly exhausted.Thanks so much for all the love from everyone on here..
it's powerful stuff, we are super grateful. Michael xx." Davina's celebrity friends and colleagues were among the first to comment on the update this evening, with Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden writing: "Such a relief, I’ve been thinking about her all day and all of you x".
