TV star Fearne Cotton has had a difficult December as the 43 year old Happy Place podcast host shocked her fans on Friday night, 13 December, when she announced that she and husband Jesse Wood have split after a decade of marriage.The unexpected news comes just 10 days after the mum-of-two underwent surgery to remove two tumours.

In an Instagram Stories post, Fearne shared with her followers: "It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage.

Our priority has been, and will always be, our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time." Fearne and Jesse, son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, tied the knot in July 2014 at Richmond Register Office in south-west London, following their engagement in 2013.The couple first met in Ibiza in 2011.They share a son, Rex, and a daughter, Honey, while Jesse also has two children from a previous relationship.

Fearne's announcement of her marriage split comes shortly after she revealed she had undergone surgery to remove benign tumours.
