A person has been rushed to hospital as fire crews were scrambled to Eccles following a collision this evening. Emergency services were called after 6.30pm on Friday, December 13, following reports of a collision on Worsley Road.
Two fire engines from Agecroft and Farnworth Fire Station, and the Technical Response Unit from Leigh were in attendance. One person was taken to hospital by an ambulance, the force said.
Crews remain at the scene this evening.
