The future of EastEnders ' Queen Vic pub is thought to be in doubt after venues in the UK closed due to social distancing rules.
Restrictions brought in because of the coronavirus pandemic mean Albert Square's famous pub might not open when the soap resumes filming again.
If pubs don't open back up again in real life, characters are not going to be allowed in the Queen Vic and scenes will be filmed outside it, insiders claim.
A source told The Sun : "If the UK’s boozers are back in business, the cast will be filming inside the Queen Vic - but if the Prime Minister doesn’t announce pubs and restaurants can re-open, the soap will reflect that." Recent episodes have shown the pub being bought by Phil Mitchell from Linda and Mick Carter.
