Eddie Large’s family urge fans to say final goodbye before small funeral

Eddie Large’s funeral will be taking place today (24 April), three weeks after his death. The Little and Large comedian passed away on 2 April, aged 78, after contracting coronavirus in hospital.

He will be laid to rest at South Bristol Crematorium, with 10 close family and friends thought to be attending the service – and comedy sidekick Syd Little reading a eulogy.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, his funeral will be kept small – with those who appearing observing social distancing guidelines.

And, according to ITV News, his family have asked local fans to give the comedy legend a send-off he deserves by waving his funeral cortege off from their homes.
