Emergency services descend on Salford Quays following reports of man in the water

Emergency services descended on Salford Quays following reports of a man in the water on Sunday afternoon (December 15). Police, fire crews and paramedics raced to the incident at The Quays at around 4pm.

Specialist water incident units, along with technical response units, were called to the incident to reports a man had entered the water.

The man involved was later cared for by paramedics at the scene after leaving the water. His condition has not yet been confirmed. READ MORE "I heard a huge crash and my partner screaming...
