A man has been taken to hospital after a car overturned on a busy road. Emergency services were called to Higher Bents Lane, in Bredbury, Stockport, at around 9.30am this morning after a car overturned.
Photos show it on its side with the road shut off by police for hours. Thankfully, Greater Manchester Police said nobody was seriously injured, with the man taken to hospital as a precaution.
Greater Manchester Police, along with crews from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics, were all called to the scene.
In a statement, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "At 9.30am this morning (Sunday 12th January), two fire engines from Marple and Whitehill fire station, along with the Enhanced Rescue Units from Leigh, were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving three cars on Higher Bents Lane, Bredbury. "Crews arrived quickly at the scene where a car had crashed into two parked cars and ended up on its side.
