Emergency services respond after crash involving Bee Network bus

Emergency services attended after a crash involving a double decker Bee Network bus in Stockport. The crash happened on Gorton Road in Reddish at around 1:30pm on Saturday afternoon.

An eyewitness said an Audi car collided with the back of a number 42 bus. Pictures showed the road having been cordoned off by police near Reddish Library.

Several ambulances were among the emergency service vehicles that responded. Traffic was diverted whilst they dealt with the aftermath.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have confirmed no one was seriously injured in the collision. A spokesperson for the force said: "We were called at 1:30pm to reports of a road traffic collision between a bus and a car.
