GMB's Ben Shephard gives emotional Kate Garraway update as husband remains in coma

Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard offered up another update on friend and co-star Kate Garraway on Friday. Kate's husband Derek Draper is still in a coma in hospital after contracting coronavirus but Ben tried to keep things positive as he spoke of the difficult situation.
He told GMB viewers: "24 hours at a time... he's getting the care, extraordinary care. "She gets the chance to phone him in the evenings and talk to him." Joking that there is "so much to hear" from chatty Kate, Ben added: "But just that moment to share that time together is hugely important."
