Greater Manchester's coronavirus death toll has risen again today

Thirty more people have died in Greater Manchester's hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus. New NHS England data shows that the COVID-19 death toll has risen to 1082 in our region.

The biggest rise in deaths was recorded at Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS trust where 11 more patients died. Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust recorded another six COVID-10 deaths, Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust four, Stepping Hill two, Salford Royal two and a further two at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.
