A gunman sparked terror after opening fire on a home decorated with children’s drawings supporting the NHS. The gunshots were fired at the property in Liverpool shorty before midnight last night with children believed to be inside.
Armed police were scrambled to the scene after reports of a shooting, and found the property had been damaged by the gunfire.
Two bullet holes were clearly visible in the front door, with the window seen decorated children’s drawings of rainbows, reports Liverpool Echo.
The nation has been hanging up pictures of rainbows in windows to voice their support for the NHS heroes amid the coronavirus crisis.
