Hamilton man's addiction book rises through charts to support men's mental health

A Hamilton man has seen his fiction book based on his struggles with addiction rise up the charts in his bid to raise funds for a men’s mental health charity.Grant Aird, 44, hopes his novel, The Light: Carnage, Cocaine, Cartels, DMT and the Road to Enlightenment, will not only captivate readers but also help others who suffer in silence by raising funds for Men’s Matter Scotland.All profits from the book - which has risen to number seven on Amazon’s new releases section - will be donated to the charity.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
