Stories of coronavirus symptoms vary wildly with people recalling very different experiences of confirmed or suspected Covid-19 infection.

As of Monday the number of confirmed cases in the UK stood at 120,067 with 16,522 confirmed deaths. The NHS describes coronavirus symptoms as a high temperature or a new, continuous cough - coughing a lot for more than an hour or at least three coughing episodes in 24 hours.

However others have described losing their sense of smell or taste, needing the toilet and their toes turning blue, while many people are asymptomatic - meaning they display no symptoms at all.

Work is being carried on developing antibody tests, which would be able to tell definitively whether someone has had Covid-19.
