Jess Wright has revealed her two-year-old son Presley was rushed to hospital in an emotional social media post. The star, who rose to fame on The Only Way Is Essex, shared with her followers that she's been having a "tough" week as Presley battled illness. She stressed the importance of getting children checked and described her fear when he became "limp and lifeless".Presley began showing signs of an unknown sickness last Tuesday, refusing food and suffering from vomiting throughout the night, which led to him sleeping in the bed of Jess and her husband Edward – a rarity for the toddler.
As his condition worsened, marked by a "horrific cough and temperature", Jess decided to take him to A&E.On Instagram, she recounted: "He was sent home as his observations after another dose of nurofen were 'ok' and they couldn't hear anything suspicious in the lungs.
At this point, for 48 hours he'd had a temperature and his breathing was rapid, especially during the night, which frightened me beyond belief."By Saturday, Presley appeared more lifeless than before, pale and having not eaten for about 48 hours, except for some oat milk which he mostly vomited up.
When alone with Presley at lunchtime, Jess noticed his cough worsening and immediately called her mother Carol to come to their house due to her growing concerns, reports the Mirror. "I ran him upstairs not knowing what to do to stop him from coughing like vapo rub and sitting in front of a humidifier but it wasn't stopping until he was then basically asleep," she recounted. "I called 999 and within 8 minutes (thank God) there was an ambulance at our door.
